Why plant medicine?
Herbs are a natural and safe way to prevent illness and heal from dis-ease. Herbs can be used in the form of tinctures, teas, baths, oils, and more for just about any health concern. Herbs can be taken every day as a tonic for issues such as anxiety, chronic diseases, or hormone imbalances. Acutely, herbs can help with colds and flu, injuries, gastrointestinal issues, or allergies. If you are fortunate to have a totally clean bill of health, there are herbs that can help maintain and even enhance your well-being.
Will herbs interact with my pharmaceutical medications?
Herbal medicine is very safe. Lori is trained and experienced in herb-drug interactions and will use the best information available to recommend one or more of the many herbs that do not interact negatively with your medications. Plant medicine works slower and at a deeper level than pharmaceuticals and they do not have nearly as many side effects. Herbs may be used in conjunction with prescription drugs.
Where do I get herbs?
Ethically wildcrafted and organic herbal tinctures, teas, and oils may be available for purchase, custom formulas can be created upon request. Reputable sources of quality herbs can also be recommended. Clients are free to choose how and where they make purchases.

Kind words
"After years of fruitless treatment in traditional Western medicine, Lori was the first person to help me get a handle on my chronic illness. She helped me to see the big picture of my health and well-being. In addition to personalized tinctures, she offered advice and guidance to help me build a diet and lifestyle that allowed me to feel good every day. I am forever grateful for Lori's attentive and loving care, and cannot recommend her more highly!" ~Denise F. |
